With its national park, the mountain of Tara is a real beauty, ideal for a peaceful holiday. The river Drina runs by the base of the mountain to create the Perucac Lake which is a real pearl of the area. You mustn’t miss the jewel of our touristic region - „Magical Touristic Ring“ in Mokra Gora. The old style train named „Cira“ sets out from Mokra Gora to Visegrad where you may take a boat to run down the Drina River to Perucac to catch the bus to Tara and back to Mokra Gora.
The Perucac Lake is an artificial lake built after the Drina River flow had been blocked for the power plant erection purposes. The lake is located some 15 km north from the town of Bajina Basta, on the border between Serbia and Bosnia&Herzegovina.
The Uvac Lake or so called Kokin Brod Lake is an artificial lake located in the Uvac valley between the Zlatar mountain and Murtenica, some 10-15 km far from the town of Nova Varos. It was made in the 60’s after the Uvac River dam was built near Kokin Brod.
Ethno-park Terzica Avlija is a sort of a museum representing a typical rural household consisting of old houses and associated buildings such as messuages, sheds, milk containers, wells, tub storages etc.
The Potpecka Cave is one of five Serbian caves available for touristic visitors. It is the most significant speleologic site in the Western Serbia located in vicinity of the City of Uzice. The entrance into the cave is one of the largest of the kind in the Balkans.
